Throughout the school year, 4 days a week, K-8 students are able to come to our community center and complete homework or receive tutoring from staff.
1-2 weeks after the end of the school year, Exodus begins a 6-week summer camp program for local students. During the camp, kids get to learn about health, safety, nutrition, sports, and computer technology– in addition to learning about Black culture. The African drumming is always a hit!
Every other Friday, our staff hold a group for teenage girls and young women in the community to talk specifically about their experiences as women and to learn from each other. This group focuses on empowerment and friendship.
We partner with Restoration One-Ninety-Nine, Restore You, and Columbia Learning International Ministries to provide case management services for both individuals and families in need in Wards 7 and 8. Case management services include counseling, crisis intervention, grief support, professional development, and more.

Exodus works to respond to emergencies (like an international pandemic) as quickly as possible by forging partnerships and finding ways to meet the material needs of our communities. During COVID-19, we have stepped up our food relief efforts, handed out PPE, and are working with local organizations to make sure families have the supplies they need to stay as safe and healthy as possible.
