Police Service Area 702 Outreach Committee is a collective of invested stakeholders who champion violence prevention and improving relations with the Metropolitan Police Department’s 7th District. It was established seven years ago with Capt. Bunner saw an opportunity for PSA 702 to be more proactively engaged. Exodus is a founding member of the Outreach Committee. There was a clarion call to engage nonprofits in the neighborhood, and Pastor Hill answered the call, connecting him to the PSA 702 wonderful Facilitator, Ms. Brenda Richardson. This organization helps to establish working relations with government entities and schedule activities for the youth in collaboration with the members of the PSA 702 Outreach Committee. One of the activities they host is an annual Holiday Walk, where they provide gifts and bikes to hundreds of children in the neighborhood. In the spring, they present flowers to the elders. PSA 702 Outreach Committee works with DPR to organize three activities during the summer, such as skating, movie night, and bicycle riding. They also do community walks in the neighborhood.

PSA 702 does fantastic work in the community with the help of some significant partners like the Metropolitan Police Department, Exodus, Faith Tabernacle, POAH Communities, Hanover Courts, the US Attorney General, and Langston Lane.
