Program Coordinator

6 years ago I was sitting at home on the couch unemployed and frustrated about my life. I prayed to God to show me what my purpose was and how I can make a difference in my community. One day I got up early in the morning got dressed and took a walk through several neighborhoods to see where this walk of faith would take me. Finally I arrived to Woodland Terrace introducing myself to the residents and young men (who appeared to be troubled) asking them if I can just pray for them, surprisingly they all said yes. As my relationships begin to grow by consistently visiting this community many youth began to tell me that I should meet Pastor Hill because he is doing the same thing you’re doing. 2 weeks later I stopped pass the Exodus Treatment Center and Pastor Hill welcome me in. During that time we met We both shared our vision for Hope and change for this community realizing that we were destined to work together. Working for Exodus has given me a sense of purpose, belonging, and fulfillment. It’s a blessing to be apart of an awesome team of passionate, dedicated people who really have a genuine heart to serve others.
